• Indulge your senses, celebrate color and express the beauty of the Tuscan landscape in a style that feels right for you – abstractly or realistically.
• Connect with your inner child – with playful painting exercises, and allowing time to experiment and explore playful visual possibilities
• Art fundamentals – line, shape, color, value and texture – will be the cornerstones to guide your compositions.
• We will use acrylic paint / watercolours along with mixed media. (more info about materials upon signing up)
• All skill levels welcome, even complete beginners

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
For more established painters: bolder brush work, mark making tools, working in a series, limited palettes, color mixing and color theory, problem solving, inspirational ideas
For those new to painting: art fundamentals and composition, how to start a painting, acrylic paint 101, using mixed media, mixing paint and color theory
NON-PAINTING PARTNERS WELCOME!
The traveling spouse rate is $1,800 and it includes: 3 meals per day, pasta cooking class, bus transfer to and from Rome Fiumicino airport, beautiful day trip to Pienza, use of the spa and all of the activities on the grounds including using their bikes, pool and tennis court.
There is a lovely walk at our retreat site that takes about 20-30 minutes to the beautiful village of Trequanda. Read about that right here!
